Privacy Policy

VIBE HIGH is an editorial site about cannabis in the U.S. Virgin Islands, operated by Sean McGuire from the USVI. This page explains what information we collect when you visit, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

What we collect

Contact form submissions

When you fill out the contact form, you send us your name (optional), email address, the reason you're writing, and your message. We use that information only to reply to you. We do not add contact-form emails to a marketing list, and we do not share them.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. It records aggregate page views, referrers, country-level location, browser, and device type. We use this to understand which guides and news pages people actually read.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking script on this site.

Server logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, request URL, timestamp, response code, user agent) for short-term diagnostics and abuse prevention. Logs are rotated and not used for advertising.

Affiliate link clicks

Some outbound links on VIBE HIGH go to retailers and travel booking sites through affiliate programs. When you click one of those links, the destination site (and its affiliate network, such as Amazon Associates or Awin) may set cookies or record identifiers on their end so that any commission earned can be attributed to us. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for the list of programs we participate in.

Cookies

VIBE HIGH itself does not set tracking cookies. Plausible is cookieless. If you click an outbound affiliate link, the destination site may set cookies in your browser; you control those through your browser settings.

Children

This site publishes cannabis content for adults 21 and older. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your rights

If you live in a jurisdiction with data-protection rights (the EU, the UK, California, etc.), you can ask us what we have, request a copy, or ask us to delete it. Because we collect very little, the answer in most cases is "the contact-form email you sent us." Write to privacy@vibehigh.vi from the address in question and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Changes

When we update this policy, we change the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least a week.
